Haven Place Aerial Shot
This 35-home neighborhood is now under construction in Castle Hayne. Thanks to the support of New Hanover County who donated the land, The Endowment, a County Workforce Housing grant, multiple corporate and faith sponsors, and individual donors, this development is fast becoming a thriving community.

Future Developments

Burgaw
Lots are ready to assign to new homeowners and construction will begin as families select lots in this new collection of 15 new single-family homes in Burgaw, off East Coston Road. Cape Fear Habitat also has single-lots throughout Burgaw and Pender County.
Legacy Landing Phase 2
Infrastructure work is currently underway on this exciting extension upon our already-complete Legacy Landing neighborhood. It represents Cape Fear Habitat's first multifamily development. Homeowners will soon be able to choose a homesite in this neighborhood.
Mixed-Income Neighborhood Concept Map
In early 2026, Cape Fear Habitat purchased land at the corner of Buck Drive and Sidbury Road for our first Mixed-Income Development. This large project is expected to take 5-7 years and will be a partnership between Cape Fear Habitat and for-profit developers. The concept map is subject to change, as are the number of units and timeline.
