Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity’s 1st Annual Rock the Block
Rock the Block is an exciting new community initiative aimed at bringing together volunteers, community organizations, and local residents to support neighborhood transformation goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to contribute to the improvement of their community through a variety of activities over a span of 1-2 days.
Activities Could Include:
- Property Enhancements: Improve the safety and functionality of homes; rejuvenate the beauty of the property.
- Exterior Repairs: Address minor structural issues on buildings, decks or fences.
- Trash Removal: Clean up litter and debris to enhance the neighborhood’s cleanliness.
- Landscaping: Beautify public and private spaces with plants and greenery.
- Painting: Freshen up public spaces and residential exteriors.
- Other Community Endeavors: Engage in various projects tailored to the specific needs of the community.
