Women Build
Looking to make a lasting impact in your community? Women Build is your chance to team up with other women to help a female-led family achieve their dream of homeownership. By raising funds and working hands-on to build a home, you’ll be empowering others to change their lives and strengthen our community. No experience is needed—Habitat staff and skilled volunteers will guide you every step of the way. Along the journey, you’ll learn new skills, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories. This year, we’ll be working alongside Stephanie, a single mom with two children who is excited to be building her affordable home!
Join us for one or all of our Women Build Events!
- 2026 Kickoff Party: Friday, May 1st at 5:30 pm at Flytrap Brewing, 319 Walnut St. WilmingtonEnjoy a variety of fun events that will get you warmed up for your build day, including:
- Nailing relay
- Measuring competition
- Building a wall!
- Volleyball Tournament: Saturday, May 9th at Capt’n Bill’s (4240 Market St., Wilmington)
- Volunteer Build Days: May 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 29 and 30 in the Haven Place neighborhood. See below for details on how to get involved.
